This is a fantastic looking card with the reputable backing of American Express. The rates on offer on this product are very competitive and the offer as great balance transfer rate of 0% for 6 months on any balances transferred to the card which could save a great deal of money. The standard rate of 12.9% is also one of the best on the market. You do need a minimum income of £20,000 to apply for the card however. If you don't consider the Amex Blue Card.
They also guarantee that there will be no annual fee on the card ever. You also get up to 1% cashback on everything you buy with the card making this a great all round proposition.

American Express Gold Verdict
The American Express Gold credit card is very good value if you meet the minimum income requirements. The balance transfer rate of 0% for 6 months is excellent and the standard rate of 12.9% is much lower than most credit cards. If you pay your balance each month this could also be the card for you. The 1% cash back offer is generous and the Amex Gold Card has some great additional benefits.
